Comprehensive Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapies tailored to your unique condition and constitution.
Traditional Therapies
Core Modalities Offered
Our qualified practitioners apply traditional Chinese medicine theory to diagnose and treat diseases through natural, time-tested methods.
1. Acupuncture
针灸疗法
A therapeutic method in Traditional Chinese Medicine with several thousand years of history. Fine, sterile, disposable needles are placed gently into specific meridian points across the body to stimulate the nervous system, release natural endorphins, clear stagnant Qi, and restore organic equilibrium.
Pain Management: Lower back pain, sciatica, frozen shoulder, neck and shoulder stiffness, arthritis, knee problems.
General Healthcare: Headaches, migraines, emotional stress, anxiety, insomnia, and chronic fatigue.
Supportive Care: Managing side effects and fatigue associated with medical interventions.
2. Moxibustion
艾灸疗法
A therapy used to treat and prevent diseases by applying burning moxa (prepared from dried mugwort leaf, Artemisia argyi) to stimulate specific points or regions of the human body. The gentle penetrating warmth invigorates meridian circulation, warms the cold channels, expels pathological dampness, and strengthens the body's natural resistance.
Chronic joint conditions worsened by cold and damp weather
Cold hands and feet, constitutional Yang deficiency
Digestive coldness, chronic diarrhoea, and abdominal bloating
Menstrual discomfort, dysmenorrhea, and cycle irregularity
3. Cupping (拔罐)
火罐疗法
A therapy in which a glass or bamboo jar is attached to the skin surface to create local congestion through negative pressure produced by heat (fire cupping). This suction decompresses muscle fascia, improves localized blood and lymphatic perfusion, breaks down stubborn muscular knots, and releases metabolic waste.
Severe muscle tightness in the back, trapezius, and shoulder girdle
Post-athletic workout fatigue and lactic acid clearance
Early-stage wind-cold symptoms and respiratory tightness
Poor microvascular peripheral circulation
4. Acupressure (Tuina)
推拿按摩
A therapeutic manipulation guided by Traditional Chinese Medicine theory. The practitioner applies specific hand techniques—such as pressing, kneading, rolling, and stretching—along meridian channels and acupoints to correct anatomical alignment, release joint restrictions, and balance Yin and Yang.
Musculoskeletal pain, stiff neck, and lumbar strain
Postural misalignment from computer work
Headaches, stress, tension, and nervousness
Effective non-invasive therapy for needle-hesitant patients
5. Herbal Remedy
中草药调理
Chinese medicinal herbs possess distinct thermal natures (cold, hot, warm, cool) and meridian affinities. Our doctors formulate customized herbal remedies based on individualized syndrome differentiation to prevent and treat disease from the inside out.
Internal disharmonies, digestive disorders, reflux, and IBS
Women's health, menstrual irregularity, and menopausal symptoms
Immune support, recurrent respiratory infections, and seasonal allergies
Skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis
6. Gua Sha (刮痧)
中医刮痧
A clinical therapy involving unidirectional scraping of lubricated skin with a smooth medical jade or buffalo horn instrument. Gua Sha stimulates cutaneous nerves and capillary circulation to bring stagnant metabolic waste and blood cells ("sha") to the surface, accelerating resolution of pain and stiffness.
Severe upper back, neck, and trapezius stiffness
Early onset of colds, chills, and feverish aches
Tension headaches and myofascial restriction
Detoxification and microcirculatory stimulation
Additional Specialised Techniques Available
In addition to the core services above, our doctors possess advanced specialized certifications in:
Navel Acupuncture (脐针)
A gentle microsystem needling method using the umbilical zone for needle-sensitive patients, acute conditions, and digestive disharmonies.
Fire Needling (火针)
A specialized clinical method for stubborn chronic joint pain, calcium spurs, tennis elbow, and deep cold stagnations.
Acupoint Embedding (穴位埋线)
Long-acting therapeutic stimulation of acupuncture points for chronic systemic conditions and metabolic regulation.
